After the weekend’s thrilling action, Bundesliga fans were treated to a midweek special which saw Bayern Munich continue their incredible winning streak for the season, and current champions Borussia Dortmund lose further ground on their rivals as they squandered a two-goal lead to draw 3-3 with Eintracht Frankfurt.

Diego Benaglio may have ended up on the losing side when Wolfsburg travelled to the Allianz Arena on Tuesday, but the Swiss goalkeeper made a string of fine saves to limit the Bavarians to three goals.
