The France boss is confident that the Bayern Munich winger will be table to face Georgia and Spain despite a minor ankle knock
France boss Didier Deschamps says Bayern Munich’s Franck Ribery should be able to play a part in his nation’s World Cup qualifiers against Georgia and Spain.
The winger picked up an ankle problem during the 3-2 victory over Fortuna Dusseldorf, and despite playing the full 90 minutes was ruled out of contention for the recent games against Arsenal and Bayer Leverkusen.
“Franck has resumed training,” Deschamps told Telefoot.
“We will take [him]. He has an ankle problem. It should not be a big concern.”
Les Bleus face Georgia on March 22 before clashing with Spain four days later.
