Gomez unhappy about Bayern situation, says agent

The Germany star has lost his place in the Bavarians’ first team this season and the player’s representative has warned that it cannot stay that way

Bayern Munich forward Mario Gomez is unhappy at finding himself out of the Bavarians’ first team, according to his agent, Uli Ferber.

Coach Jupp Heynckes has opted to use the Germany international sparingly this season, with summer signing Mario Mandzukic sealing his place in the starting XI.

“Naturally, Mario is not happy about his situation,” Ferber Bild.

“It’s also clear that it can’t stay this way. He is behaving well, is loyal and always ready. If the coach puts him on, he has earned it.

“Still, Mario’s desire was and always is there. During his time at Stuttgart, before his move to Bayern, when he signed a contract extension recently and of course now.

“Mario would like to contribute to Bayern by playing a great season.”

Gomez staked his claim for a regular place in the Bayern team by scoring his side’s second goal in the 4-0 win over Nurnberg on Saturday.
