The Germany international is optimistic about his side’s chances at Wembley and has stressed that they are aware of BVB’s strengths and weaknesses
Jerome Boateng claims Bayern Munich know everything about Borussia Dortmund ahead of Saturday’s Champions League final.
The defender has admitted that the match at Wembley has been on his mind ever since Bayern booked their ticket for the final and is determined to make amends for last year’s loss against Chelsea.
“I’ve been thinking about it every day ever since we got past Barcelona. We’ve all been waiting for this chance, especially after last season’s bitter disappointment,” Boateng told the official Bayern website.
“I can’t see into the future, but I can promise this: we’ll give everything we’ve got. If we play like we did against Barcelona and Juventus, we’ll do it. I’m optimistic.
“Dortmund know everything about us, but we know everything about them as well. BVB will have definitely registered that we’re in superb shape, and we’re not exactly easy to beat.”
Bayern have won two of their four games versus Dortmund so far this term, with the remaining two matches ending all square.
