I don't want to be branded a loser, says Muller

The versatile attacker is desperate to make amends for the previous defeats against Inter and Chelsea

Thomas Muller is determined to guide Bayern Munich to victory in Saturday’s Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund and avoid being “branded a loser”.

The Germany international also featured in the Champions League final defeats against Inter in 2010 and versus Chelsea last season and he’s desperate to avoid falling at the final hurdle in Europe once again.

“For me personally, it’s about time I won the thing. If you’re beaten three times, you’re branded a loser,” the versatile attacker told FCB TV.

Muller has been in fine form in the Champions League so far, netting eight goals and creating two more, and he’s keen to keep up his fine form at Wembley on Saturday.

“I can’t complain this season and I hope it just carries on. The fact that I know where the goal is isn’t anything new.

“I’m not going to have my style cramped, I’ll do my thing totally normally.”

Saturday’s encounter is scheduled to kick off at 20:45CET.
