The Bayern supremo believes the winger has shown over the past few months that it’s nearly impossible to contain him when he’s at his best
Bayern Munich president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has hailed Arjen Robben’s sublime form and feels the Dutchman is unstoppable at present.
The 30-year-old was one of the undisputed stars of the 2014 World Cup as he guided Netherlands to a third-place finish and he has taken his fine form with him into the 2014-15 season.
Robben netted twice at the weekend to help Bayern to a 4-0 win over Hannover and Rummenigge is thoroughly impressed by the former Real Madrid winger.
“Arjen has been in incredible form recently,” the Bayern supremo was quoted as saying by Bild.
“He already showed what he can do at the World Cup. He was unstoppable and no defender could hold on to him. Not even Spain’s Sergio Ramos.
“It looks like he has managed to maintain this superb form. He has been amazing.”
Robben has netted three goals in five Bundesliga outings, while creating two more.
