Bayern don't care about Dortmund struggles, says Neuer

The Germany international is not interested in BVB’s disastrous start to the season and expects a difficult match when they lock horns at the weekend

Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer says the Bavarians don’t care one bit about Borussia Dortmund’s problems this term.

BVB were regarded as Bayern’s biggest rivals in the race for the Bundesliga title ahead of the season, yet Jurgen Klopp’s men sit 15th in the table with just seven points from nine games.

“Do we feel for Dortmund? No,” Neuer told the official Bundesliga website.

“It doesn’t matter to us. We’re really only interested in ourselves.”

Nevertheless, Neuer has stressed that Dortmund will be no pushovers when they travel to the Allianz Arena on Saturday.

“We know it won’t be easy against Dortmund. No game’s the same.

“Dortmund being off form won’t make it any easier. It’s going to be a completely different game for them as well.”

Dortmund beat Bayern 3-0 when they last locked horns at the Allianz Arena back in April.
