Robben: I'll miss Jurgen Klopp

The Dutchman has a lot of sympathy for the outgoing Borussia Dortmund boss but insists that he wants to ruin his farewell by pipping his side to the DFB-Pokal

Bayern Munich star Arjen Robben has admitted that he will miss Jurgen Klopp when he leaves Borussia Dortmund this summer.

The BVB boss confirmed on Wednesday that he and the club have agreed to terminate his contract at the end of the season, three years before the end of his deal.

Though Dortmund have struggled this year, his earlier success forged a strong rivalry between his side and the Bavarians and the Dutchman is hoping to deny him one last trophy as the two clubs prepare for their DFB Pokal semi-final.

“I will miss him, I have a lot of sympathy,” he told Bild.

“But we want to ensure that Klopp leaves without a title.”

Klopp led Dortmund to back-to-back Bundesliga triumphs in 2010-11 and 2011-12 and beat the Bavarians 5-2 in the 2012 Pokal final.
