The German champions brought an end a dismal run of form, while Stuttgart were able to scramble to safety
A 2-0 win over Mainz on Saturday coupled with Wolfsburg’s draw with Koln saw Bayern Munich finish 10 points clear at the top of the Bundesliga.
The Bavarian side had the title wrapped up long ago, but a dismal run of form afterwards threatened to put a dampener on their celebrations.
Pep Guardiola’s side were able to recover on the final day, though, picking up three points to kick start the celebrations.
Wolfsburg held on to second place, while Borussia Monchengladbach lost to Augsburg to see the latter grab a Europa League spot.
Jurgen Klopp waved goodbye to the Signal Iduna Park and the Bundesliga in his final league game in charge of Borussia Dortmund with a 3-2 win over Werder Bremen.
Meanwhile, Stuttgart were able to survive in the league with a 2-1 win over Paderborn, while Hamburg have to play in the relegation playoffs.
