The Brazil international has yet to play any part in the Bavarians’ pre-season programme but is now approaching full fitness ahead of the club’s Bundesliga opener on August 14
Bayern Munich have received a boost ahead of the start of the Bundesliga season with the return of Dante to full training.
The Brazil international has yet to feature in the Bavarians’ pre-season fixtures, having picked up a muscle injury on his summer holiday.
However, centre-half Dante spent 45 minutes training alongside his team-mates in Munich on Tuesday before then continuing his rehabilitation with a one-on-one session with fitness coach Andreas Kornmayer on an adjacent pitch.
Bayern also confirmed that winger Franck Ribery, midfielder Javi Martinez and defenders Holger Badstuber and Jan Kirchhoff remain “on the injury list”.
The German champions played their first competitive fixture of the 2015-16 campaign on Saturday, losing 5-4 on penalties to Wolfsburg after drawing 1-1 after 90 minutes.
Pep Guardiola’s men, who kick off the defence of their Bundesliga title at home to Hamburg on August 14, face AC Milan in a friendly at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday.
