The Germany international forward has been rated at €100 million if the Red Devils are to pounce but the club’s sporting director expects him to stay at the Allianz Arena
Bayern Munich sporting director Matthias Sammer is adamant that no more players, including Manchester United target Thomas Muller, will leave the club this summer.
Louis van Gaal’s side have been heavily linked with the German forward in recent weeks, while centre-back Dante, reportedly close to joining Bayer Leverkusen, could be called back into action after Mehdi Benatia suffered a thigh injury.
Sammer expects the German champions to have all hands on deck in the coming months, declaring their exit door closed.
“We will need every player,” he told reporters. “I think that there is nothing more that could happen.”
Bayern have consistently denied talk of Muller being sold this summer, while the man himself is “relaxed” about his future being the subject of such speculation.
